Research Sourcing Review
The Certificate Is Signed Before The Box Ships. Everything After That Is On The Supplier.
A lab result describes material on the day it was tested. It cannot see the warehouse, the truck, or the porch it sat on. Here is what to check about the trip, not just the test.

A certificate is a snapshot. It is accurate on the date printed on it. Then the vial gets packed, handed to a carrier, sorted, trucked, and left somewhere for you to collect.
None of that is on the certificate. It cannot be. The lab signed off before any of it happened.
So the real question is not only "was it tested?" It is "how long was it in transit, how was it packed, and who pays if something goes wrong?"
ORA Labs ships from the U.S., same day, with free Shipment Protection.
Orders placed before 2 PM ET on a business day ship the same day, in temperature-appropriate packaging.

Think of a carton of milk with a perfect date stamp, left in a hot car for a week. The stamp did not change. The milk did.
Research material deserves the same thinking. Read the label on an ORA vial and it says it plainly: keep refrigerated between 2°C and 8°C. Freeze-dried material belongs at −20°C for long-term storage. Not in a sorting facility for three weeks.
The certificate proves where the material started. Transit decides where it ends up.

2Three questions to ask about the trip
- Where does it ship from? A domestic origin means one carrier, one country, no customs hold.
- When does it leave? An order that sits for four days before dispatch has been in a warehouse for four days.
- Who owns the risk? If it arrives damaged, does the supplier fix it, or do you argue with a carrier?
3How ORA answers them
Origin. ORA's material is synthesized in facilities within the United States and ships within the United States only. No overseas leg. No customs queue.
Speed. Orders placed before 2 PM ET on a business day ship the same day by USPS Priority Mail, with standard delivery estimated at 3 to 5 business days and tracking emailed when it ships.
Packaging. Every order goes out in discreet, temperature-appropriate packaging.
Risk. Every order includes free Shipment Protection. If it arrives damaged, arrives wrong, or never arrives, ORA sends a like-for-like replacement at no cost when it is reported within 7 days, unopened.
Plenty of suppliers put delivery risk on you. ORA makes it their responsibility.

4The paperwork still matters
Fast shipping does not replace testing. It protects it. ORA specifies 99%+ purity, verified by HPLC and mass spectrometry, with independent third-party certificates matched to the lot. The transit is what keeps that result meaningful by the time it reaches your bench.

Had an order from another supplier sit in customs for nineteen days. Never thought about what that meant for the material.
Same here, and nobody would replace it. Carrier problem, they said.
The milk in a hot car line is going to stay with me.
Ordered before 2 and the tracking email came the same afternoon.
Shipment Protection is the part that sold me. That is the supplier taking the risk instead of me.
Never checked where anything shipped from before. Will now.
